ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Danielle Dedeaux. I've been passionate about helping people and protecting the environment from a young age. As a fourth-year student at the Pennsylvania State University, I'm turning that passion into reality. By the end of this school year, I'll graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Geography and minors in Climatology and Sociology.

As a geographer, I am particularly interested in how climate change disproportionately impacts marginalized communities, especially in the context of disaster recovery and climate displacement both in the United States and globally. My research aims to examine displacement and migration patterns of racial and ethnic minorities, examining both the recovery and adaptation strategies of those who stay and those who are displaced. Additionally, I aim to integrate social justice into my work by exploring how these communities can be better supported through improved disaster planning policies and community support systems.
